One Good Idea can offer a variety of computing solutions to customers, both consultancy and short or long term service contracts. We provide design, architecture, implementation, test, and maintenance services in the following areas:

Past Solutions

Over the last few years we are proud of having worked with customers to deliver successful projects. Some of these projects are listed here.

• Cryptographic Web Trust System
  Architecture and implemention of a web module for passing trust credentials between websites in a cryptographically secure manner to enable a Business to Business system for a major investment bank.

• Web Hosting Infrastructure
  Architecture and implementation of a network infrastructure for a web hosting company; including firewalls, web servers, mail servers, and system management scripts.

• Utilities Systems Integration
  Comissioning and integration of trading database systems for de-regulated utilities, including data validation, data cleansing, and implemention of additional custom requirements for the business.

• Systems Testing
  Test analysis, design, and reporting in a number of commercial environments including finance, digital television, utilities, and telecommunications.

Depending on services required, we are available for on-site work within Central Scotland and Greater London.

Although we are not web designers, we are happy to work with designers in creating web sites. In the exception that proves the rule however, this site was developed entirely by One Good Idea.
