Gary began a degree in Aeronautics but his long standing interest in computing led him to concentrate on the Information Technology based engineering discipline of Avionics. He graduated from the University of Glasgow with an Honours degree in Avionics and spent eighteen months conducting research in the field of Augmented Reality for aircraft. Gary founded One Good Idea and is the company's Managing Director.
